Having ignored his‌ mother Diana for a long time, Adam comes back home to discover their house ⁣in⁢ ruins and his mom living in a care facility. He ⁤understands ‌how serious his neglect was and promises to look after her from now on.

To save up for a trip to New York for Adam’s graduation, Diana took on extra babysitting jobs.

“Of course, Adam. I’ll be there. I wouldn’t miss ‌it! I’m so proud of⁢ you.”⁢ she said.

Feeling proud of her son’s accomplishments,‌ she gifted him a watch. At the graduation ceremony, ⁢Diana cheered loudly‌ and⁤ felt ‌happy ​as they⁢ shared a special​ dinner together.

After returning to California, the ⁤calls between Diana and Adam became less often since⁢ he ‌got caught up with work and his girlfriend.

Sadly, a storm⁣ caused major damage to ⁤their house. And since Diana couldn’t pay for repairs, she ⁣had to move into a nursing ⁤home.

Adam ​didn’t ⁣know about this until he came back home only to find everything⁣ destroyed.

He found ⁤his mother weak in the⁣ nursing home.

“Mom, I’m really sorry for not being there more often. I regret not being around when you needed me,” he cried out loud.

Diana ‍comforted him as Adam promised‌ that he would take care of her from then on. He fixed their house up ‌again, moved ⁤his business back⁣ to California and lived with both Diana and his​ girlfriend so‍ that she would never feel alone⁢ again!

“You don’t have to be by ‍yourself ever again,” he ⁣assured her.
